Photographers tend to be equipment junkies. Here's an essay I wrote about equipment lust.

Part of the magic of the conventional darkroom is manipulating the print during exposure (burning and dodging). I made a gadget that makes burning fairly easy. Read about it here.

photo.net - Discussion, equipment reviews, photo critique.

A Large Format Photography Home Page - Discussion, equipment reviews

B&H Photo (New York) - My favorite place to buy stuff on the Web. Honest, reliable and quick. Not exactly warm and fuzzy….not rude, just efficient. Use the web site and you don't have to talk to anyone!

Calumet Photo (Chicago) - Warmer and fuzzier than B&H. Prices are pretty good, too.

Freestyle Photo (San Francisco) - Good place for oddball European films. Check their "Closeouts" link for good prices on out of date film.

J and C Photo. Even more oddball stuff. Sheet film in every size imaginable.

Photographer's Formulary - Bulk chemicals, alternative processes and other hard to find stuff. Workshops, too!

KEH Camera Brokers - Good source for used equipment. One of the most conservative grading scales you'll find anywhere.

American Frame - Framing materials.

Light Impressions - Mat board, cutters, display materials and a whole lot more.
